The cultural relationship between both shores of the Mediterranean can be complex, enriching and even frustrating. Karsten Xuereb read for a PhD in cultural relations in the Mediterranean at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona (2012) and an M.A. in European Cultural Policy and Management at the University of Warwick (2005) as a Chevening Scholar.
