Mapping Cultural Diversity: Good Practices from Around the Globe is an anthology, published by the Asia-Europe Foundation and the German Commission to UNESCO, features programmes and policies that foster cultural diversity around the world. A reflection on Mediterranean practices, written together with Dr Francesca Cominelli, is included in the publication (page 79).

Karsten Xuereb read for a PhD in cultural relations in the Mediterranean at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona (2012) and an M.A. in European Cultural Policy and Management at the University of Warwick (2005) as a Chevening Scholar. He is a member of various networks and since December 2020 is part of the World Heritage Nomination Project addressing UNESCO sites at the Maltese ministry for culture in Valletta.
